06.12.2007 Hata & Sammy talk about the new record & what's going on with Strikin' Case at the moment.

Yo! Our boys will do an interview with Radio Sata this Saturday starting at 12.30. P.M. It will be repeated on Sunday at the same time. It's a somewhat special broadcast because it's the first time you are able to hear new Strikin' Case material from the Sound Supreme sessions. After the interview they're going to play the opening track of the new record called "Little Loner". It's a kickass song so don't miss that one!
Radio Sata is a really good local radio station in Turku which plays mainly rock music. Everything from The Rolling Stones to Metallica. If you live outside Turku and would like to listen to the show, don't worry! On Radio Sata's web site you'll find an opportunity to listen to the show online for
free! There's also a chance to get "Little Loner" on their playing list so do us a favour and use your phones and e-mails after the show!!! Thanx!

24.10.2007 Sean G to leave Strikin' Case.

Sometimes you've got to make sacrifices to get to the top and that's what this is about. The decision was unanimous and had to be done. Sean will do the gigs already scheduled and also sing in the studio. The
rest of the band will continue their work with the new songs.

In other words, Strikin' Case needs a new lead singer.
So, if you've got the voice and know how to do your thing on stage, contact

07.10.2007 Back on track AGAIN!

After a quick search we found a new guy for the bass. He's Altti Karjalainen & you may know him from some previous bands. Eppu will cover up one gig in Torvi, Lahti (10.10) and then he's out for good. Altti will also play on the new studio release and does the following gigs as an official member of the band.

27.08.2007 The band is heading back to studio!

Strikin' Case has booked four days of studio time from Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna. Sessions will go on from the 29th of November to the 2nd of December. The band will spend the time recording some new kick arse material! The record will include three songs and it will be recorded and mixed under the guidance of Janne Saksa. Mastering will take place at Finnvox Studios.Stay Tuned!

First of all, a big thank you goes to everyone who took part to our contest!!!
It was really a blast seeing how many people from all over the Finland visit the web site.
We had loads of answers coming in all the time. Most of them were correct and some of them... well, were pretty interesting:) So, thanks again and the winners are:

27.05.2007 Eppu is back

With Eppu back onboard the band is working hard to get their set list ready for the upcoming gigs. Eppu's first gig after long hiatus will take place in Salo where Rock-Rooster and Haven-yhtymä are throwing an out door party ToriRock with many other bands. Now, the band back on track we'll hope to see you all at the gigs! Later!

26.05.2007 Bass Player Wanted!!! 

Our current bassist Simppu decided to concentrate on other things & is
slowly stepping aside from the band. He was kind enough to fill in for the
rest of the year, so the gigs allready booked are going on as planned. So
again all the four string rockers out there: Take your chances and sign up
for the audition! We need someone who obviously knows how to handle his bass
and likes to work hard. Age somewhere between 20-28. Let's try to make this
a long time commitment, so all the volunteers sign up HERE!!!

04.05.2007 Golden Buddha gig has been postponed

Gig that was supposed to be at Golden Buddha 12.05.2007 has been postponed to 26.05.2007. Also Golden Buddha has changed their name to Dante's Corner. It will be opened early in May to Uudenmaankatu 13 Turku. So we'll see you there then.

10.09.2006 Studio booked                                              
The band has booked some studiotime & is starting the recordings late January next year. Now it looks like it's going to be simple package with two strong songs on it. The studio is going to be again Studio Livingroom, where the band recorded Deranged last year. More information comin' later

At the moment the band is rehearsing their set list with a new bassist. Lots of new songs will be included. First gig after long pause will take place in KupaRock, Naantali. It's an out door gig and will include six other bands too.  Also some links updated. Reviews of Deranged and other useful stuff. Take a closer look here.

20.03.2006 Back on track!
Strikin’ Case will participate this years Ääni ja Vimma band contest which will take place in Helsinki. We’ll be performing in Kontulan nuorisotalo on 25 th of March. Our show starts at 18.oo. So come and see us in action. Bass duties will be taken care of by Funky M. From Parasite City.

20.03.2006 Record out on Monday!
Allright, the finished product is finally here, be ready to get your copy! The official release date for Deranged EP is the 20 th of March. You can order it through our web pages or buy it from the record stores of Turku. At least Kane Records, Stupido Shop, and Levykauppa Äx will have Deranged in shelf so be sure to get yourself a copy!

30.01.2006 Greetings from the studio!
The band spent the last week end of January by mixing and
mastering the tapes and they are happy to announce that the
new EP titled "Deranged" will be released during March.
You can download the first song "Freedom" from the main page. The band is also looking for a distribution deal so the exact release date depends on that.

04.01.2006 EP out before spring!
Things in the studio went so well that band is starting off their year with more recordings in the Studio Livingroom. They're gonna put down two more songs and the release is going to change from the intended single to an full lenght EP. The EP will
include four originals and one Rolling Stones cover. There will be also one song out for free download by the end of January, so stay tuned!

04.01.2006 New Webmaster hired.
Good news for those who are sick and fuckin tired of waiting for new updates. The band has founded a real webmaster who's going to take care of all the future updates concerning Strikin' Case. First, there will be new picture gallery available called Miscallenious Pictures. Some good stuff there people!
Also the merchandise section is soon to be opened, so pay attention folks!

No, we still don't have a permanent bass player, so keep contacting you four string wonders. And if ayone´s interested, the band has decided to take back their own names or nicknames, simply because stage names are gay.

23.09.2005 "It´s a deal!"
A small independent record label Protain has signed Strikin´ Case. From now on, all the giggin and the recording of  the new single will go through this company. The other band on Protain is Parasite City. For more info & updates go to  Protain´s web site.

The band has auditioned nearly 10 bass players without any mentionable luck, so everyone who knows how to play bass and how to rock, contact!

18.08.2005 Strikin' Case signed to small record company.
Strikin' Case has been signed as an artist to a small record company. Practically this means that promotion, gigs and record merchandines will go through this company. Company's name will be revealed in Septemper.

18.08.2005 Strikin' Case starts to record a single in fall.
Strikin' Case is heading for studio to record three song single. Recordings should start around November and the new single will be available early next year.
